You Never Know Who You Will Run Into

Can't go anywhere in this town without running into people you know or are related to. We went to the lake front for our walk (we are on a roll now, two days in a row) this morning and who do we run into but Mum, Dad, Tammy and Luke. It was definitely another beautiful day for a walk. Saw the eagle today, that is one of his favorite trees, so hopefully we will see him again.

On to Publix and pick up the few thing we need. Then as we are driving home we are at the light at Neptune and Kissimmee Park Rd and who pulls up next to us but Cheri and if I had been quicker we would have had a picture of her for the blog but the camera was in the back and I really didn't think of the picture thing until I was writing this up, will just have to keep it in mind for the next time. So watch out if you see me pull up beside you at an intersection you may just wind up in my blog.

Spent the morning doing laundry waiting to go to Tammy's for a BBQ to celebrate Kimi and Larry's marriage. Headed over there at about 1115. Chris was heading to the shower just as we left so he would be arriving just after us.

When we got to Tammy's most everyone was in the backyard enjoying the nice weather. We also all admired Sami's new haircut. Looks really good, she has such thick beautiful hair. Talked for a bit then Andy, Nikki and Riley arrived and Kimi and Larry came out so everyone got to meet everyone.

We also found out the baby's name. She will be Kaleigh Grace, it is such a beautiful name, can't wait to meet her.

Andy was giving Breann some pointers on how to take pictures, we are really hoping that she didn't listen to any of it.

By this time everyone was getting hungry, so the grill got started and hamburgers and hot dogs were put on and in no time lunch was ready. And it was a great lunch, cooked by someone else and eaten outside.

You can't have a wedding without cake, (ok in our family you can't have anything without cake) so there was a cake for Kimi and Larry to do the traditional feeding of the cake. Everyone enjoyed this and then everyone enjoy the cake. As always a good Publix cake.

After everything was cleaned up did the shifting around of chairs so no one was in the sun and just sat around and talked. I finally did get a picture of Chris and Andy together and it gets scarier all the time how much they look alike and then how much they look like Dan.

We left at about 1430 and spent a quiet rest of the afternoon and evening at home. Chris gave me a video game yesterday - Professor Layton and the Curious Village - and I have been hooked on it.

What a really great weekend we had.
