Commissary and Eagle

Always one of my favorite sights, driving out of Patrick knowing that commissary shopping is done for at least another month. Going during the week is always so much nicer because there are a lot fewer shoppers although there is always one that has to park their cart right in the middle of the aisle so no one can get by.

The road over to Melbourne is very close to being done, just a few short areas that need to be worked on. Kind of strange how they do a road and the order that stuff gets completed.

We saw the eagle on Hickory Tree dining with a few of his closest friends, about 20 - 30 vultures. Of course as we drove up it scared most of the off and the eagle was having no more of the meal as long as we were there. Tried everything to get it to fly off the branch, wanted to get some shots of him flying, but that wasn't going to happen either.

We were home by about 1100 which is pretty early, but we didn't need as much as we normally get. Just one of those months probably coming up on a month that we will skip altogether because the freezers are pretty full. Got lots of the pork tenderloins so I can make that a couple of times this month.

Don't know what the weather was suppose to be like today but I wasn't expecting it to be as cool as it is. Only 75 degrees and overcast so it seems cooler, at least to me.
