New Toy

I have decided that Chris is not allowed to visit if he is going to bring his new toys over to the house, especially if he knows it is something that Dan will like. Chris used his birthday money to buy a GPS for his car and he showed it to Dan. Well Dan uses one everyday for work but his screen is very small and the voice is sometimes hard to understand. The one Chris got was so much nicer Dan decided that we were going to Bass Pro Shop to check them out.

So we started by going to Panera to pick up some bread for lunch and then we were off to Bass Pro Shop. Took us a while there because everyone was at the electronics department and only one person was working. We finally got the GPS, the Garmin Nuvi 255W and we were off. Dan had it all plugged in and working before we left the parking lot. It is pretty neat and it will really come in handy for work. Plus we can use it when we go to Australia, we can get software for just about anywhere in the world.

We made a couple more stops, Northern Tool and Publix, and then it was home for us.

Lunch time and I made paninis with the bread from Panera, Tammy's favorite, ham and swiss. Should have invited her for lunch.

Spent the afternoon watching the Olympics and the race with a nap thrown in for good measure. I was up at 0400 this morning for some reason so I was ready for a nap.

Andy and Riley came over for a visit after dinner and we talked to them for a bit and then it was time to call it a day.
