Busy Morning

Dan decided instead of a birthday lunch, he wanted a birthday breakfast. So we started our day at Perkins. The meal was very good but our server was very slow and never seemed to be around.

Then we were off to Home Depot, Dan wanted to get the lawn mowed yesterday but after making a couple of passes the belt on the mower broke, this is an every year occurrence and it never breaks just as he is finishing up the yard. They only had one of the belts and not the one that was actually broken. Wal-Mart and Publix were next, both were very crowded because we were pretty late getting there.

Next was B & C Mowers to get the other belt and luckily they had one.

Home for us and chores were started. Dan got the belts changed and started mowing and what should happen but the rain starts, don't think it was meant to be a lawn mowing day.

Watched some of the Olympics, some pretty exciting stuff going on. I am getting tired of all the heats for the track and field want to start seeing some medals being won.

The rain stopped and the lawn dried a bit and Dan was back out to get the lawn mowed, just in time for the hurricane to come and get us.
