After spending a good portion of his weekend in a car seat, Riley had to do it all over again today. He had a very busy weekend on his visit to Jacksonville and was a tired boy this morning. I finally had to wake him up at 0800 and I know he would have slept much longer but we had to take Chris to work again. As it was he only got to drink his milk and eat about 1/3 of his breakfast before we had to leave. For this trip we were in the car for about an hour and 15 minutes.
When we got back to the apartment finished up breakfast and read his new books that he got this weekend. Then it was time to go down for a nap. He got up at 1300 and we had enough time for lunch (mac and cheese and some jello) before heading out again. This time we had to take Chris to pick up his car. This was a much longer trip. About 2 1/2 hours this time. Traffic was much worse this afternoon then this morning. I know why I do all my errands in the morning.
Riley was such a good boy. Didn't fuss much at all and the couple of times he did I would just talk to him more or sing him a song. Isn't he a lucky?
By the time we got home this time Andy was all ready there so just dropped him off and I headed home.
They said nothing was wrong with Chris' car so we don't know what was going on. Not real happy with the service he received so he will probably be taking it to the Dealership on 192 near Partin Settlement Road from now on.
We are hoping to get back to our routine tomorrow, missed our walk today and we are looking forward to that.
