Balloon

Should have know that Dan having 20 hours in two days would mean a day off. Wish the weather would have been nicer because we would have gone somewhere exciting. We still got out and about.

Picked Dan up and headed to Panera and Michael's. Riley enjoyed his bagel and really liked looking at all the people coming and going. He finds everyone fascinating. After getting our bellies full went to the Scrapbook store in Hunter's Creek. Glad there were some other people in the store because the owner loves to talk and when she does I can't concentrate on my shopping. Wasn't looking for much, just some white 12" x 12" paper. All that I have at home isn't 12 x 12 for some reason. She had what I wanted, although who knew there could be so many shades of white. I think the one I chose was avalanche.

Also went to Publix because it was right there and we needed some bread for Riley's lunch. Then it was time to head home. Wouldn't you know it, Riley fell asleep just before I dropped Dan off and when we got back to the apartment it was pouring. Still he didn't really wake up and went right into his crib and ended up sleeping for two hours.

When he got up, he was all excited because he saw the balloon we had gotten at Publix and we played with that for most of the afternoon. He would pull it down and let it go up, then he would get up to walk away and the string would get stuck between his legs and he couldn't get rid of the balloon and if the balloon was going to follow him around he might just as well play with it. Took a break from that and read some books.
