Pool Time

What a busy day, started and completed all our chores pretty early. Well all except for the lawn, Dan finished that just as Andy and the kids arrived. Riley was lucky enough to get a ride around the house with Grampa. Had to wear his hearing protection just like Grampa.


Then it was time to get in the pool. It felt so cold today so I had to check the temp and it was 86 degrees, guess it was just because it was a bit overcast and not really hot out yet. Andy, Riley, and I made it in the pool and had a good time playing. Nikki, Ashley, and Wally arrived about 30 - 45 minutes later and more fun was had.


Riley really like this float, he thought it was just like being in the bath tub. He had a lot more confidence today and tried out all the floats and was pretty daring with letting go of who ever was holding him.


Had a delicious meal of hamburgers and hot dogs and then it started to rain so the Wii games came out and Andy, Wally, and Ashley played MarioKart. Only had 3 controllers and they were the first three takers. Had a good time watching them, glad I didn't play because I never do well at driving games.

Riley went down for a nap and was out like a light, had a very busy morning and start of an afternoon.

Had a great day, will have to do it again soon.
