I keep forgetting to mention that we had a couple of milestones on July 4th. First Sami is now officially taller than Kim, a sad day in any mother's life especially when said child is only 12 years old.
The second milestone is Riley got out of his crib by himself, opened the door and walked out into the living room. This is an even sadder day in a mother's life because not only is your little boy getting older and more independent, you can't ever be sure where her child is anymore.
Now back to our regular posting. Just a pretty normal Sunday. Andy and Dan went back to Ikea with the truck to get a bed that Andy and Nikki wanted but it wouldn't fit in either car we were driving yesterday. Other than that it was chores and taking it easy.
So I thought I would put some more California pictures up for you. We were out for a ride so I'm not sure where we were except it was along the coast (my powers of deduction are pretty good).
This is Stern's Wharf in Santa Barbara, real nice area here.
Looking at the Wharf.
The view from the wharf.
The mountains behind Santa Barbara.
The view from the Gigstead's back yard.
The front of the Gigstead house.
More from the back yard.
This is what we would see when we walked to the end of their road.
Turning around and heading back to the house.
One last sunset in the backyard.
