Goofy Face Day

What are we going to do in August when it gets really hot and we want to go for our walks. It is so hot now, when we get back to the apartment we are all hot and sweaty and ready for a nap. It's getting so even the ducks are hiding out in any shade they can find. But we will continue to take our walks because we all enjoy them and it feels so good when we walk back into the apartment.

The day seemed to go by very fast today. Kaleigh didn't get up until 0930, so our walk didn't start until about 1015 (maybe that is why it was so hot today) and Riley went right down for his nap when we got back.

Nikki got home just after everyone woke up at 1430.

This is a good time for me to head home because there is no traffic and it is so much easier to get out of Andy and Nikki's road onto Neptune. I've been known to sit at that intersection for up to 5 minutes waiting to get out. So anytime I can avoid that it is a good day.

Dan wasn't so lucky with his day, here it is almost 1930 and he still isn't home. Hopefully his day will be shorter tomorrow.

The kitchen floor was the place to play today, don't know why because he has never done this before. He took his bucket of blocks and dumped them on the floor and played for a while.


Today was also silly face day, it wasn't like I just happened to catch him doing this, he did it on purpose when I pulled the camera out.


As it got later in the morning he would go over and see if he could hear Kaleigh waking up, he really wanted to head out on our walk.


Again, another goofy face that he did as soon as he saw the camera.
