They Finally Conked OUT!

Had a few errands to get done this morning so we were out bright and early, or at least as early as we could be when the clocks are springing ahead on us.

At around noon our two visitors for the next couple of days arrived. They aren't very big or take up much space but they sure tire us out.

Riley found a new favorite treat for dessert. Dad had mentioned these last week and I thought Riley would like them and I was right. He would have eaten the whole box if I would have let him. They are miniature drumstick ice cream cones and Riley just calls them cones.

Kaleigh enjoyed her lunch of peas and baby ravioli, one of her favorite meals. She got to have some jello for dessert, kind of messy.

Not sure who this was that joined us for lunch but he made Riley and Kaleigh laugh.

After lunch we headed out for a walk. Saw the horses at the end of the street and Riley talked to them for a bit.

Got home, played, ate dinner and got ready for bed. Kaleigh found the best toy isn't a toy at all, just an old metal tin.

Riley is quite the block stacker, he built this stack all by himself. Right now the stack is at nine blocks which was his record for the day until now. Let's see how high he can get.

Here he is putting the twelfth one on, it is getting pretty tall.

Can't quite make the thirteenth block. I really couldn't believe he got this high. He was standing on his tip-toes to do the last couple.

For a while it didn't seem like they were ever going to get tired enough to go to bed. But at 2000 I put Kaleigh in her room and she was out in about five minutes. Riley laid down on the couch and the next thing we knew he was sound asleep.

With them asleep that means I will be following really soon. All around it was a very fun day.
