It Was Commissary Day

I know Tammy is going to be very jealous when she reads we went to the Commissary but maybe next month we can go on a Thursday. It was a very quick trip today. We got there early and were able to start shopping but Dan had to wait for the registers to open to pay for the soda while I was doing the food shopping. We were actually home by about 1000 and we never get done that early. Then of course there was the hour of putting food away.

Now that prices are going up at the stores around here it is even a better deal going over there. Most things haven't gone up much and being cheaper to start with really helps.

We stopped by to see Andy, Nikki and the kids. Wanted to see how Riley was doing and he was back to his normal self after his tumble yesterday. He does have a big mark on his forehead and a few miscellaneous scratches. He must have been feeling like he was the only one with bumps and bruises so he hit Kaleigh over the head with his new guitar and now she has a big red mark on her head.

This afternoon was filled with racing and football. Had some problems for a bit because it was raining so hard we weren't getting any reception but we didn't miss much.
