Universal Studios

We had such a good time today. It started out downright cold about 41 degrees when we left the house but it warmed up nicely and was a perfect day to go to a park.

We really did a lot of things and every ride, except the carousel, was Riley's favorite ride and he didn't want to get off. Of course the playground were another hit and we went to quite a few of those.

Andy, Nikki, Dan, and Riley went on one of the rides in Suess Landing and when they entered the ride it was suppose to be only a five minute wait, well an hour later they finally emerged. Kaleigh and I thought they had gone to lunch without us. One good thing came of the delay, four express pass tickets for any rides we wanted. Andy and Nikki used them on Dueling Dragons and the Hulk two of the most popular roller coasters in the park.

The two pictures are of Andy and Nikki on the Hulk. If you click on them, look at the next to last row the two seats on the left and you will see them. I almost didn't get the picture because I waited a bit trying to figure out if I could see them on the ride but it goes by so fast I couldn't make anyone out. So I just decided to take pictures of all the cars that went by and theirs happened to be the second on I took pictures of.



All of this so far was at Islands of Adventure next we went over to the original Universal Studios. Andy and Nikki saw some one they knew working at the Mummy Ride and he put them in the VIP line so Dan, Riley, Kaleigh and I went to watch the Blues Brothers Show. Andy and Nikki joined us just as it was starting. It was a very good show, all Christmas Music.

Next Andy and Nikki went on Men in Black and the rest of us headed over to the playground and that is where we all met up.

Now we were off to find a spot to watch the parade and again Andy and Nikki ran into someone they knew so we sat down with them and waited for the parade. Riley watched the parade like it was the best thing since a bucket of popcorn or maybe he was so good because he had a bucket of popcorn. The parade was great, it was like a mini Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with balloons and everything.

After the parade it was time to head home with one finally stop at Cinnabon on the way out.

Forgot to mention that about six months ago Dan got 4 tickets to Universal as a tip for a job he had done, think it was one of the best tips he ever got.
