Christmas at Disney

Went out to Disney today to look at some of the Christmas decorations at the hotels. Started with breakfast to get our strength up for the day. This was one of the flowers we walked by heading to the food court.

Our first stop was the Grand Floridian. There seemed to be a lot of people just milling about smartly, not sure what they were doing.

Hopped on the monorail and headed over to the Contemporary, the 4th floor has really changed since the last time we were here. Seemed very crowded and congested. Not many decorations here so we just walked through the shops.

The Polynesian was the next stop on the monorail and again not many decoration but their flowers and greenery were just beautiful.

One last stop at the Grand Floridian again, we ended up spending more time here because it really started pouring and we decided to wait for it to let up so we didn't get wet going out to the car.

Started the trek out to the car and of course it decided to rain again, not quite the torrential downpour like earlier but enough that we were glad to get to the car and dried off.

Drove to Wilderness Lodge to have lunch. This is always one of the prettiest resorts. We had about a 35 minute wait to get in for lunch and we just people watched and looked at the decorations.

Had a great lunch with way to much food, ended up taking enough home so Andy, Nikki, and Dan had big dinners. We were ready to call it a day after this.

I stopped by to see Andy, Nikki, and the kids, and then headed home.

I can't believe all the food you were able to take home. The decorations are beautiful.
