Let's Go Swimming

Decided to go for our walk a bit earlier then we have been and caught a beautiful sunrise. It went very quickly probably because there were no clouds in the sky.





Then as we were on our way back this flock (if that is what they are called) of sandhill cranes came flying over and landed right in front of us. They were very noisy about the whole thing.



Just as I was starting up the car to pull out of the parking lot who should drive in but Mum and Dad, had a quick visit and we were all on our way.

We were heading to WalMart to pick up a few things and found that Sunday morning isn't really a good time to shop. The frozen food section was pretty empty and that is where we needed to get a few things.

Andy, Riley, and Kaleigh came over at about 1015 or so and we did some swimming.

Riley went down for a nap after about an hour in the pool and slept for about 1.5 hours. Nikki arrived and then Ashley joined us after she took Wally to work. We had a really nice afternoon. Hot dogs on the grill, baked beans and some chips for lunch.

Then we went back in the pool. Riley is really getting to be quite the water baby.


Everyone left at about 1700 and Dan and I watched the rest of the race. We are going to have to do this more often.
