Can't Get Close Enough

Riley had one of the strangest breakfasts yet. He was in my arms and I got a waffle out of the freezer. He wanted to hold it so I figured he could and then put it in the toaster oven. He decided he couldn't wait and just ate it frozen. I guess he liked it that way because he devoured it.

Had some errands to do so Riley and I headed out to the Post Office, Bank and Publix. Didn't take us long so we were home to go on our walk at the normal time.

We got all ready for our walk as you can see. Juice, hat, and snacks, Riley couldn't even wait until we left the house to start in on his Honey Bees (graham crackers).

This is what Kaleigh was doing when we left.

Our walk was pretty interesting. The sprinklers were on next to the pond and every now and then we would get misted. Then one time the sprinkler just kept going around and got us pretty good, but it felt good because it was already hot out. We really didn't try to avoid the spray, plus it made Riley laugh when he would get wet.

The most interesting thing was the snowy egret eating the frog. Took it a few seconds to get it situated but once it did the frog went down whole. No pictures because I couldn't get close enough without it flying away.

Riley went down for his nap and while he was sleeping Tammy stopped by. She had gone out to lunch with Tom, this is the first day he was really feeling better from the stomach thing. So she visited for a bit and kept Kaleigh laughing, ok she kept her occupied and happy.

After she left I took a couple of pictures of Kaleigh in the swing.

When Riley got up he was ready for his lunch and what a good one today. Raviolis and a banana and he ate everything. One of those days where he ate pretty much all day.

Kaleigh started getting a bit fussy so Nikki put her on the floor and she was enjoying being on her tummy and of course Riley had to get right in there because he can never be close enough to her. He is really working on being gentle with her and hardly even throws things at her anymore. Although the occasional thing will slip from his hands. It is really very cute how much he loves to be around her and touch her.

Kaleigh's fussy period lasted about two hours, nothing was right for her and nothing was wrong with her. She would get happy and smiley for a few minutes and then start fussing. She did the same thing yesterday, so don't know if it is a trend that will continue or what. She finally fell asleep and that did the trick.

Got home and the well man had come and installed everything so the well is back up to snuff and most everything down there now is pretty new.
