She's Nine Months Old

This has been the first Wednesday in quite a while that I have left the house at 0530 and it has been warm, it was kind of nice. Down .6 at WW, that leaves just a pound to go.

It is getting really difficult to get a decent picture of Riley anymore, he is always making silly faces.

Today was the cute girl's 9 month mark, can't believe how fast the time has gone.

The were both tired kids and took pretty long naps. Had to check on Kaleigh because this is the longest she has slept for me in a long time. This is what I found, she looked so cute. Didn't want to go any further into the room for fear of waking her.

It took Riley a while to get settled, but finally got all his stuff situated and fell asleep.

They both woke up just before Andy got home, so I got them feed and set for the evening.

You Had Better Sit Down

Most of you aren't going to believe this but after 24 years of using the same washer and dryer, they have been around longer than Andy and have traveled the world with us, Dan finally convinced me it was time to get new ones. If he hadn't been so proactive we wouldn't be getting them delivered next week.

He called someone at the Kissimmee store (someone he deals with all the time) and he told Dan he would make him a good deal. So Dan was heading to the store and called me to meet him there and we got everything all taken care of.

They are the Maytag 3000 series, the ones that come in red and that is the color I have wanted for a long time plus we got the pedestals to go with them. Now that we have ordered them I want them right now. But they couldn't deliver until next week which really did work out for the best because we didn't have any days this week that I would be home.

Well here they are:

After spending all that money stopped by Andy and Nikki's to lend them a hand with their taxes and we finished them up in no time. Here's hoping that getting Andy's birthday correct with his SSN worked so the e-file will go through. We will know in 24-48 hours.

Not much else going on besides the absolutely beautiful weather we are having, hope it is just as nice in the Everglades. When I checked the weather for the weekend in was looking very nice.

Fog Pictures

Really getting into the fog pictures. The fog was much thicker this morning on one side of the street. The other side was more like yesterday's fog.

Yesterday this shot didn't look as good because you could see the houses/trailers in the background but today the fog covered all of that up.

Here it was hanging off the ground and that was pretty interesting.

Here I was looking into the sunrise, really like the colors you get with the fog.

As I was finishing up my walk this morning I looked over and there were these big black dogs playing in the yard. There were at least four more that didn't get in the shot. I knew these people had a couple of the dogs but didn't realize they must breed and sell them. The whole time I was walking by didn't hear a peep out of them but I get to the yard with the two little dogs and they yapped the whole time they could see me.

Then it was time to go watch the kids. It was such a beautiful day we went out for a walk and had a good time. Hopefully this will be the start of our walks everyday that I'm over there.

Dan and I drove in at about the same time tonight, just after seven. So we are about ready to call it a day.

A New Friend for Dan

Today we went for a walk along Cord Ave, we don't very often make it to the other end since Pine Tree went all the way through to Canoe Creek. Not much of a sunrise but lots of ground fog that made for very interesting pictures.

These next two were taken by Dan with his new camera. A bit of a learning curve because it is so small and has so many features. These pictures turned out great.

This one was after we turned around and were heading home. Most of the fog was gone and the light was giving a nice golden glow to everything.

When we got home, turned the corner to go in the back and here is this pigeon. He was just walking around, not afraid of us or anything. Had bands on both legs but couldn't get close enough to check them out.

Went into the house and Dan went out through the garage to do his chores and for the next two or so hours the pigeon followed him from the garage to where ever he was working. Finally late this afternoon he must have gotten tired of us because he was gone. It was pretty strange.
